IDS Clean File System Overview
IDS CFS is an “offline” Automated Fingerprint Identification System with a programmatic interface. It is intended for performing cross-comparison of large fingerprint databases. The process is conducted in offline mode meaning that once data is loaded into the system it starts processing and asynchronously reports next portion of results at definable intervals.

- Supports distributed fingerprint database cross matching
- Supports multiple processing hosts to satisfy scalability requirements
- Uses IDS Core SDK for image processing and fingerprint matching
- Hardware based licensing mechanism
- Fail-over mechanism for database information recovery in case of accidental hardware or software failures
- GUI-based management tools with a remote administration support
- System has an ability to be restored with negligible system performance deterioration in case of hardware failure of an IDS Engine Matcher
